The Sisters of St. Joseph Architectural Stained Glass School

Now offers a variety of professional stained glass courses and the Spirituality of the Art here at our 2500 square foot studio in Beautiful St. Augustine Florida.

We are only 15 minutes away from down town St. Augustine and 20 minutes from our beautiful Florida Beaches.

Sister Diane Couture, a world-renowned glass painter who created the Memorial window in New York in remembrance of all lost in the world Trade Center teaches this age old technique. She studied Glass painting for 3 years under the guiding hand of a German Glass painter and has been painting art Glass pieces for Churches around the World. Sister Diane also spear headed the four year degreed program in Stained Glass at Flagler College here in St. Augustine that was co-sponsored by the Stained Glass Association of America.

Our studio offers classes in

• Beginning Stained Glass:
• A class for beginners in stained glass will take place at the studio on Friday mornings beginning May 23 through June27, 2008, and another class July18 through August 22, 2008 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
• The cost for the six week course will be $150.00 plus a lab fee of $75.00 for all supplies and use of the tools.
• Leaded Stained Glass classes will be held on Tuesday evenings from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM for 6 consecutive weeks beginning May 13 through June 17, 2008 and another class Beginning June 24 through August 6, 2008.The cost is $150.00 plus a lab fee of $ 75.00 which covers all supplies and use of tools in the studio.
• Some stained glass experience will be helpful but not necessary.
• Traditional Glass painting classes will be held on Tuesday evenings from 6:00PM -8:00Pm for 6 consecutive weeks beginning March 18 through April 22, 2008 and another class June 24 through August 6, 2008. The cost is $175.00 plus your painting kit of $110.00.
• For all classes you MUST BE REGISTERED" a week before the classes begin with a $25.00 non-refundable deposite

No experience necessary

Glass Painting Workshops

A three day workshop will be offered April 3,4,5, 2008 (Thursday through Saturday) in traditional glass painting.

This is a beginners and advanced course.

The cost of the workshop is $350.00 per person. This cost will include glass paints and supplies for the workshop.

The class is limited to 6 persons.

Lunch will be provided.

You must be registered a week before the class begins with a $50.00 non- refundable deposite.

5 Day extensive Glass Painting

Workshop.

A 5 day and 3 day Glass Painting Workshop will be

offered at our studio beginning June16 through June

20th (Monday through Friday) for the 5 day and the

3 day will run from June 16 through the 18, 2008 (Monday - Wednesday)

The cost for the 5 day workshop is $600.00.

The 3 day workshop is $350.00.

The fee includes supplies and lunches.

This class is for beginning and advanced technique.
